Testimonials
Alice
"When my baby arrived, Clare visited once per week for three weeks. She was as wonderful and reassuring as I had hoped she would be, and more. She helped me to trust my instincts again, listened to any concerns I had and gave sound, nonjudgmental advice.
She also helped with some jobs around the house, and cooked delicious and nutritious treats with my 3 year old. She was a joy to have in our home.
I can’t recommend Clare highly enough."

"After the birth of our baby I suffered badly from De Quervain’s (swollen wrists). I was unable to attend any baby classes to help me as a new mum. But Clare made it so easy for me and my partner. She helped us learn through one-to-one sessions in the comfort of our own home. We were given information to help with the arrival of our little one and taught new techniques such as baby massage. It was comforting to have such a lovely lady so near when we felt we needed any assistance or guidance."

"We contacted Clare, concerned that living away from friends and family could leave us isolated in the early days, with lots to learn as first time parents. Clare was warm, encouraging and talking to her helped me to process worries and plan the early days. She helped to make breastfeeding comfortable for me, taught me baby massage techniques and made me nourishing food. I think she helped to give us a brilliant start and build our confidence which made those early weeks so much more enjoyable. I’m so grateful that she was there for us then and that she will continue to support us if we need her. We recommend her highly!"

Carol
"I can’t recommend Clare enough, J is our first baby, an absolute bundle of energy and we wanted to learn more about ways of creating calm moments. With Clare I felt comfortable, welcome and instantly at ease. The sessions were mainly aimed at massage. Clare spent time checking in and created a space in which I felt able to talk openly and honestly, in particular feeling heard was something I cherished in those early days.
The massage sessions themselves were relaxed, enjoyable and fun, I came away feeling confident to carry on at home and massage has come to be a really important and special aspect of my relationship with J. We use it every night in our bedtime routine. J LOVES her massages and it always brings us a smile watching her during them as she just stops, closes her eyes and is completely relaxed.

"I was very emotional after the birth, which didn't go as I had hoped, and then I experienced problems with my milk supply that I had never envisioned would happen to me!
Clare was a complete rock during these times, and gave much needed support to both me and my partner. Having someone to listen with real empathy to our birth story was very important; Clare is an excellent listener and a caring individual and she helped us both to process and understand the experience.
When it came to our struggle with breastfeeding, Clare was a fountain of knowledge and was able to lend us helpful books and sign post us to the right specialists. It was such a thoughtful gesture that every time Clare came over she would bring a delicious item of food or drink especially chosen to help support milk supply."

Clare came to my rescue when I felt the most vulnerable as a new mum shortly after my daughter Isobelle was born and I wasn't hugely prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions that goes alongside parenthood!
Clare reassured me that I was doing great and the best thing I could do was to be more relaxed, which I think ultimately led to me being eventually able to exclusively breast feed and also cope better with the colic situation.
Clare also encouraged me to seek more support from those around me, reassured me that what I was experiencing was normal and that I knew best as Isobelle's mum.
The first 8 weeks of motherhood were much tougher than I had expected but knowing that my whole family had Clare's support made it easier.
My midwife suggested I might benefit from the help of a postnatal doula; it’s an experience I will be forever grateful for, and will recommend to other mums (Alice).
Clare has a deep kindness, an extensive knowledge, and is clearly very passionate about supporting new parents (Sarah).
The first 8 weeks of motherhood were much tougher than I had expected but knowing that my whole family had Clare's support made it easier (Claire).
Clare was an amazing postpartum doula from start to finish. I was stuck in neonatal for 7 days but Clare was my rock. If you’re reading this and you still aren’t sure about a postpartum doula, just drop Clare a message or video call (Lauren).
